This has been a long time in the works, but thnx for being patient.
A few things have changed, but less is always more. We took our minimalist approach to the next level, w/ a few major improvements -- including a new waxed duck canvas bag (doubles as tinder pouch), newly designed lock-down handle, new easy-clean spout, new lock-in-place lid (no more rattling), and we added steam venting holes. We also ditched the original 550 paracord.

Very nice little pot just the right size for backpacking with two people. Replaces an older aluminum kettle.
Just getting started with it and love it! Figured out not only to be used for camping but also at home when blackouts occur. Great quality... great product!
nice pot, moveable handle is quirky, seriously the nicest part about it is the bag, it is outstanding!
Power was out for a couple of days in Texas due to the winter storm. I was able to heat up water and food with the Kessel 2.0 and the Titanium Stoker Flatpack stove. Truly a life saver. Thank’s Uberleben!
I love the size. Good for on the fire, or on the stovetop. Cleans up well.
Looking at the kettle, the handle would appear not to be hot because of location. WRONG! That handle is extremely hot and if you don’t use a potholder you’ll burn.
Great pot, a aesthetically pleasing to the eye, ergonomically correct, and solidly built. Look forward to many years of forest morning coffees and teas. Used it last month for some stealth camping in the mountains of Taiwan (it was Thursday, the campground is only open on the weekends) and it worked great. Along with the Stoker stove a great set.
Love the pot pours beautifully , the canvas bag is a big plus!
Are used it one time! Stove top in the house just to test it out. I boiled some distilled water and made a pour over coffee. I left less than a quarter of an inch of distilled water for 24 hours sitting on the stove top. To my amazement there was rust that started in the cheap stainless steel. Good stainless steel doesn’t rust!!! If I had the time I would return the pot..... terribly disappointed with the material it’s made out of.....
Bought My Son and Son-In-Law and myself several camping items from Uberleben. They love their gifts and I love mine as well. The tools and cooking pot are high quality and functional.
Unfortunately my son never got to use his as his house caught fire and burnt. He lost everything.
Guess I know what to buy him for his next gift.
Beautiful well made pot that will last for years on my motorcycle adventures.
Absolutely love this thing! My partner enjoys using it just as much as I do. In the morning making cups of coffee or out in the back yard late nights cooking, It’s just all around perfect cute little piece to have!
Excellent quality and light weight
It's the best!!
I love how this Kessel handle folds & is able to flip around for multiple functionality. As well it fills my lore12 kuksa 5 perfect fills. Very happy with all products received from you

I bought the Kessel 2.0 Pot + Waxed Canvas as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She's becoming an avid hiker and already has the stove to go with it. I think she will like the pot because it's compact and light to carry.
Thanks for the prompt delivery during the holidays.
I love this little kettle. Can use it with a fire stove or over my regular stove top at home. Feels very solid and looks amazing. The waxed canvas little bag is a plus. Would definitively buy it again and it would make a great gift for someone you care about.
I recently got the the works including the fire starter, wick and bellows, pot, stove and kuksa. They all pack away nicely and are high quality! Unfortunately the kuksa cracked after a few uses but I believe that was my own fault with improper care. I would highly recommend any of these items to anyone who asks.
I love the design and am eager to use it but I purchased over the holidays and my hunting and camping season has ended. But my bins are reorganized and all my bush tools are packed for Spring adventures.
Awesome pot! Cait wait to use this on my next backpacking trip!!!
Really pleased with it so far. The pour spout provides great control, which is great for things like brewing coffee. I'd love it even more if the handle could be folded or stowed without completely removing it.
Great quality and a very intelligent design, I am delighted!
Haven't put it to use yet.
Absolutely the best little pot I have ever used. I was able to take out a lot of junk stuff in my ruck and replace them with my new Kettle. Just love it, tuff, lite, and durable.
I really like this pot. It is light weight and well built, with a very nice carrying pouch. The handle placement took a little getting used to at first but it works well on a camp stove or small fire.
Gift for my son, he backpacks a lot and loves it for all the possibilities when out in the wild.
Both the pot and stove were Christmas Gifts to my son-in-law who so happens to be a year-round
fisherman. Unfortuantely, no pictures/video available but I am told BOTH items were excitingly received.
Works very well as a cook pot as well as a tea/coffee kettle. Heats very evenly, spout is easy to poor from and great construction. Great handle. Will be looking to modify lid so I can place coals on top, that way I can easily bake in it.
Stove and cook pot were perfect! Quality of the product is very good. This was a gift for my son and he is now a fledgling bush crafter. So many thanks.
Like all of you’re products this is unique and functional. When camping friends and others always ask where we got them. I refer them to you and hopefully they placed orders with you. I believe I own every product you sell. Hoping for more!
Works great for boiling water for food and drink. Large capacity for both at the same time. Handle keeps hand away from hot steam. Comes apart nicely for more storage in my pack.
Arrived on time, as advertised.
I gave them to two friends who have taken up camping.

So all of sudden have found to have quit a collection Uberleben products and includes this nifty and well made metal pot. The pit easily design to be a server, a dish as well a pot to cook in. Fits well and stable on any cooking medium I’ve yet utilized open flame, on hot stone, on kitchen stove top, on Numerous outdoor warming and cooking set ups
Love it it's my favorite the waxed case is great
Had to try it in my outbuilding, I am very pleased with it!! Boiled water in a very short time!!
The wooden handle part keeps coming undone, I’ll fix it with some loctite I think. But I really like the kettle. The canvas bag puts it over the top, in my opinion.
I loved my new Kissel so much that I had to use it at home before going out into the woods! It looks fantastic with the new shiny finish and it feels great in hand. The waxed canvas bag is a bonus and could double as a foraging bag if needed. Uberleben makes fantastic products! Thanks!
I've only used it a few times. It works fine, plus it has style. I'm looking forward to using it much more in the future.
I haven’t had a chance to use my new gear yet but the quality is fantastic and I can’t wait to take it all camping!
Just enjoying a hot cup of tea with my new kettle.
great little pot. looking forward to using it!
I love my new Kettle & Kuska!! Quality is amazing - thank you Überleben!
This is a well made pot. It is sturdy and compact. I can't wait to use it.
Love the new Kessel pot....nicely made, and the cover secures while on, and the steam vents all make a great, easy to use kettle for cooking, or just boiling water. I just have to find a way to pack the handle in the cotton storage bag...doesn't fit the bag while attached,...other than that, It should work out great for us.
Tested my new stove and pot. Excellent craftsmanship and the waxed bags are a big plus. Only two handfuls of sticks and the water was boiling. I stored the handle, spoon and cotton gloves in the pot. Now to get their ferro rods. Love it.
Excellent. Workmanship, easy-clean, handle, lid, compactness top notch. Love using it. Maybe my favorite camping pot ever. And the canvas pouch is not just practical but too atmospheric not to bring along.
First time use over the long weekend 23 to26th October.
brewed up tea for two. well pleased with this excellent made
kessol pot. cheers ray NZ
Finally got to use my pot on an overnight camp out with my brother. Really excellent quality, perfect for coffee or hot chocolate. Every product I’ve purchased has been top notch.
The canvas bag is top of the line. Have given one away as a gift and they
Loved it. Kept one for
Great pot!!! Just the right size for two campers. Wood knob on top makes it easy to pick up when hot.
Boils quicker and with less fuel. Handle gets hot though, have to use a cloth after hearing.
This is the perfect vessel for boiling H2O to reconstitute freeze dried foods.
This will accommodate enough water to handle the (two serving) freeze dried foods I employ.
This is a Mountain House freeze dried beef stroganoff that I cooked using your 2.0 Kessel, on top of your Stacker, Flat Pack Stove. As you can see I wasn't exactly "roughing it", but everything you offer works EXACTLY as advertised.
Thank You Uberleben, for providing products that absolutely live up to their claims
Good Job. (Happy camper here)
This is the best kettle I've seen, have not used it yet been busy and the weather has
been c---p. The best test will be oct 23 to 26th cheers Ray
We haven’t used this yet but will do so as soon as we have enough snow for snowshoeing. Our treks are all about the picnic and this pot will be a welcome addition to our arsenal. Besides, the style is Nordic through and through, which we love!
It’s a substantial little pot with a great case! A great little investment that is made to last!!
Wanted to use it a bit before writing a review. The pot works amazing and the pour spout coupled with the handle design makes it one of my most valuable camp items. The size is great for solo camp and lightweight backpacking but a 2.0 liter version would be a great improvement.
Great cooking pot. Light weight & easy to carry. Little bummed the paracord handle is gone but I figure it has to do with the handle burning or absorbing smoke. Looked cool though. I haven't bought an Uberleben product yet that wasn't top notch. Sturdy, well thought out, and a pleasure to use, just like the rest of their stuff.
I’ve been using this for making tea and coffee in the wilderness, along with the Stoker stove. Works very well and the craftsmanship makes both very enjoyable to use. Not that I needed a reason, but it gives me motivation to get to the top of the mountain to enjoy a hot beverage.
I use the kessel all the time, even at home. It handles well and water boils quickly. The lid fits securely so there is no danger of lid catastrophe. I plan to buy another one for cooking, using
my first kessel for water only.
I received the Kessel, Stoker, and Zunden as a gift and I am over the moon. I used them for the first time last week camping at the North Shore of Lake Superior. They are beautiful and so wonderful to use.
This pot is a great size and works well with the wood burning stove! Thanks for all the great products!!
It is perfect can't wait to use it
I absolutely love the new kettle and Kuksa. I highly recommend these products. Thank you.
Awesome company and awesome product! Not my first and not my last for sure!
This is an awesome piece of kit! Ultra light and fits really well with my setup!
I have purchased 2 Stoker stoves and 2 Kessel pots and am pleased with them. I also have purchased the 1/2 inch fatty fire starter. I need to report that it came apart from the wooden handle. I need to return this device to you for a refund or a credit. I do not wish to replace it with the same as I feel the quality of the construction is poor.
I’ve only had the pleasure of using it once, but I love it so far. Durable, lightweight & heats evenly. Fire ban where I was backpacking, so I had to use the gas stove, which can be finicky with a stove this size. No factor with this stove: had water boiling in absolutely no time & it’s so light the weight was a non issue. Love the weatherproof bag it comes in, the steam vents & the adjustable handle. Great all around kettle. Can’t wait to test it over a real fire.
I just had to have this for my survival pack! I have to say the fit and finish looks great and it’s a perfect addition to my equipment!
Great little bush pot. Soon as it was delivered I put it to work on a home stove and it worked well. Next was a twig stove and it was perfect. The build quality is excellent. I can’t see using anything else for years to come..
It is beyond beautiful. Obviously made with love like EVERTHING we have gotten from you!
So appreciate all you do.
STAY SAFE stay healthy.
Love and light!
I bought the kettle with the stove. The quality is outstanding! I adore the bag it came in. I think the water boiled for my coffee within 4 minutes. I love that the wood knob didn't get hot. It's practical and beautiful! I'd buy a different size if available. This should last forever !
Love the product ,just what I wanted.
Wonderful little kettle. It’s my go to kettle in the morning when I make my instant coffee or when I make tea. Quality is excellent
I had my eye on the stove for 6 months.
So I caved. Snatched up the Kessel 2.0, Zünden, Tindår Wick, and FINALLY the titanium Stöker.
In love with every item. Haven’t used a lighter since receiving everything! The stove cooks faster than my actual stove at home, including the time to start the fire.
My only complaint, all the thick plastic bags everything comes packaged in. I feel it unnecessary for such a wild and outdoors driven brand.
An excellent piece of camping cookware.Great size, proportion and design. The handle can easily be changed from a 'lifting' position to one that allows you to 'hang' the pot,for cooking. Cleans up easily and stores nicely,in the 'waxed',zippered case. This maintains a waterproof cover for your pot. This bag can also be used as a 'tinder' bag,to collect and keep the tinder dry,as this is a vital necessity,to create and build a viable fire, for survival.
great little kettle, we love it
I like the pot, but do you know of any videos that would show me how to put a paracord handle in it?
Worth the wait!
Love it, well built, clean lines, well engineered...
Very nice strong construction. I haven’t taken it out camping yet but I don’t expect any issues simply based on the quality .
LOOKS GREAT,MADE OF GOOD SS, BUT HAVEN’T TAKEN THE TIME TO USE IT YET !!!
Looks to be good quality.
Lid fits nice and snug.
Looking forward to testing it in the field
I have three of these now. A very useful thing to take camping.
A Kuksa, Lore, Zunder Fatty, Tinderwick and the Kessel. All of these products from Uberleben rise to the top of their class. The quality is amazing. The performance is spectacular. The Kessel and Kuksa make for a great cup of campfire tea!
Beautifully made kettle! I can’t wait to try it out! Just need the stove now
Added a paracord bail to the lid and a paracord wrap to the handle. Still room for a hook. I prefer the grip with a wrapped handle.
This is a great cook pot. Here’s why: the aspect ratio is low and wide, making it stable. It has a convex bottom so it stays put. The handle doesn’t get hot. And it comes in a nice canvas case so the creosote doesn’t get all over the place. Nice!
Well made perfect size for bushcraft .
Works great around a campfire, fire pit, or even on a stove. Solid construction and easy to clean. The case is not just an afterthought, but is functional and durable. If offered in a larger size I would purchase one of those as well.
This is a perfectly designed kettle. Built to last and will fit in your kit without any problems. Just Get It !!!
You will love it !!! I own 3 !!!
The waxed canvas pouch adds a nice touch and makes packing easier.
Love This !!
Easy to use, love the way the handle fits inside the pot for travel
I recently received my kettle, it exceed my expectations!
Great engineering in creating it, great quality and an asset to my gear!
So I have been in love with absolutely every product that I have purchased from Uberleben. I had attempted to get the Kessell pot 1.0 before it got sold out I had no idea that the Kessell pot 2.0 was in production at that point and was waiting and I could tell you what even without the pre-wrapped handle The Kessell pot performs just as good with every discipline as a kettle, a little pot for cooking, or anything I have not had any issues I made sure to take it's out a minimum of five times before I posted this review. Thank you so much for everything you guys do ,you have a lifetime customer.
A well designed cooking pot and carrier . Break for hiking or backpacking .
