Position Summary: 

Establishing a solid operational foundation is essential to our success moving fwd. As we scale, we’re seeking a resourceful Operations Manager who excels in problem-solving, implementing structure, and proactively optimizing backend systems. This individual must have a forward-thinking, growth-mindset!

The Operations Manager leads Überleben’s backend logistical functions — accelerating excellence across inventory, fulfillment, production, and tech systems. This is a proactive, outcomes-driven position requiring strong judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they escalate. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Inventory Management

  • Maintain real-time visibility into stock levels across channels (Amazon FBA, HQ, wholesale, etc.)

  • Forecast demand using historical data, seasonality, and product launches.

  • Reduce overstock and avoid stock-outs through smart allocation and planning.

2. Product Procurement & Resupply

  • Plan and execute reorders with manufacturing partners to ensure consistent availability.

  • Support product development by coordinating test runs, evaluating changes, and flagging operational risks.

  • Maintain records of product revisions, testing outcomes, and supplier communications.

2. Production & Fulfillment Oversight

  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate, timely production and fulfillment.

  • Monitor pick/pack/ship quality and resolve production and fulfillment issues quickly.

  • Improve SOPs for shipping, receiving, returns, and rework processes

3. Operational Systems / Tech Stack

  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain tools to streamline inventory, fulfillment, and vendor communications.

  • Collaborate with leadership to align tech with business needs.

  • Ensure system documentation, backups, and SOPs are consistently up to date.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years in operations, logistics, or supply chain management (ecom or consumer goods, even better).

  • Proficiency with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, ShipStation, or similar inventory tools a bonus.

  • Strong Excel/Sheets skills and data fluency.

  • Experience managing vendor and 3PL relationships.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Project management mindset and ability to self-prioritize.

Reports To: Founder | CEO

Schedule: Full time (Office hrs 8am-4pm, M-F)

Compensation: Salary $60k—$80k+/yr, DOE
